Objectives (I)

AIMS:

Asepmo, the Industrial Estates Business Association of Mostoles, that is composed of 400 companies, struggles everyday for defense the interests of the productive fabric in the town facing the local, regional and national administrations and internartional organizations.

Within this aim and if we bear in mind the present economic situation and the urban development context of Mostoles, Asepmo thinks that the prime objective is to get the following strategic aims:

Terciarization of industrial land: Asepmo committed to the terciarization of the industrial land because the urban development in Mostoles has prompted that to a great extend the industrial states are included in the town and the economic changes demand new land uses adapted to the demand of the Knowledge Society.

The rise in the supply of industrial land: in the recent opening of sealed tenders in La Fuensanta Industrial State (PP-10) it was revealed the fact that the number of companies that want to settle its activity in Mostoles is superior to the available land. So that, Asepmo is working to get that the administrations provide the town with more industrial land.

Family Companies: Knowing the difficulty that the family companies have to survive just because only a 40% overcomes the first transmission and a 10% reaches the second one, Asepmo considers it is urgent to give them all the necessary support to overcome the problems and continue their activity.

Technological Innovation Center(*): Asepmo, through the Technological Difussion Center, favors the establishment of innovation plans, both technological and management, to increase the value of their processes and the strength and profitability of their associates. That way it favors the development and survivor of the PYMES that usually have more difficulties to introduce innovator processes.

Companies Integrated Center: Asepmo committed to the creation of the Companies Integrated Center. CEIM set up in some towns this idea that involves embracing all the associations and institutions that work for the development of the productive fabric in Mostoles in the same place. This business center would allow to concentrate the services offered by the public and private entities, and that way expedite the time that the enterprisings have to dedicate to the administrative procedure.

(*) Asepmo, through the financing of the Technological Innovation General Direction of the Economic and Innovation Department, and European Social Fund, has a Technological Diffusion Center, located in the offices of the Social Sede, to serve all the companies of this association. The Center collaborates and helps, at no cost, in the process of the specific establishment of the different innovation plans to favor the increase of value and the associated companies rentability to medium and large-term objective.

The Mision has been established according to the following concept: contribute to the diffusion of the culture of the Technological Innovation, the Information Society and the Knowledge in the business world, including the promotion of the establisment of innovative techniques and technologies.

For the securing of this aim, the following duties will take place:

To detect the necessities of the companies and contribute preliminary advice related to the adoption of plans and measures of innovation or incorporation to the Information Society.

To spread the National Programs of the European Union and the Community of Madrid for supporting companies and so enough guidance to make their access easier.

To spread or present concrete cases and performances of good and innovative business practices which have a predeterminate value and can contibute real experiences.

To collaborate with Institutions and Organizations with similar aims.

To cooperate with other CDTs through the Center Net organized in this regard.

Formative programs: Continual and Professional Training, Training for the improvement of PYMES Quality Management, Training for the Skills Development of the Processes and Projects Management and for Communication, Training for New Technologies such as Internet an E-mail.

The improvement of the enterprising spirit image and the managements aimed at simplifying the legislative procedures.

A collaboration agreement with the King Juan Carlos University.

In general, all those activities that can improve the management processes for the development and the innovation of the PYMES in Mostoles.

Its area of territorial performance is in Mostoles, a town that makes up a metropolitan center with a population of 200,000 and locates 18 km south of Madrid. Mostoles has an important industrial fabric that is largely made up of small and medium-sized companies whose main economic activity is the electro, iron and steel metalurgic.

This activiy takes place in seven great Industrial Estates: Arroyomolinos, La Fuensanta, Prado Regordoño, Los Rosales, Asentamiento Pajarillas, El Lucero-Expansion, Las Nieves, Asentamiento Las Monjas-21 km and Poligono Virtual.
